For some years We have noticed Japanese & American cultures are inverted in many respects. One of those is the contrast between the culture of the Advocates and the publics.
Americans often accuse others of having OCD. An American with OCD still doesn't match the thoroughness and vigilence of the typical Japanese. An American without what many Americans would call OCD will not pass the Bar.
The public in Japan is more like the attorney culture in the United States. The attorneys in Japan are more like the public in the United States. Japanese Advocates don't need to be like American attorneys. The Japanese attorneys have the Japanese public doing what most American attorneys must do. The Japanese attorneys are able to take the legal profession, the culture & Japan to the next level.
